Agriculture in the Classroom
John is available from November to March to come into your classroom to speak about agriculture. He presents a slide show and interacts with the students teaching them about all that is involved in growing produce and marketing it. From a simple presentation of the seed, soil, water and the sun to a more diverse presentation including geography, marketing, economics, ethics, health, science, law, environmental studies, practical management and global affairs. Students are encouraged to share what they know and ask any questions they may have.
